Darik News, based in Bulgaria, reports that Oregon Governor Kate Brown has ignored victims’ rights when granting pardons to prisoners, Lane County District Attorney Patty Perlow and others have argued in a legal petition. Perlow, along with Lynn County DA Douglas Martini and four surviving victims, asked a Marion County Circuit Court judge to force Brown, the Oregon Department of Correction, the Oregon Youth Authority, and the state’s parole board to “follow the law.”
